Enquiries and Bookings

Submitting an enquiry through our website or social media does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed once the scope of work, applicable fees and any required payment arrangements have been agreed.

Fees and Payment

Fees will be communicated to the client before work begins. Any deposit, payment schedule or additional charges will be agreed in advance.

Additional work outside the agreed scope may incur extra fees, which will be discussed with the client before proceeding.

Design Recommendations

Our recommendations are based on the information provided by the client, the agreed brief and our professional judgement. The client is responsible for reviewing recommendations and confirming that selected products, dimensions, finishes and specifications are suitable for their space.

Product availability, prices, delivery times and supplier terms may change. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, products are purchased from third-party suppliers and are subject to their terms and policies.

Project Scope and Revisions

The number of revisions and the deliverables included in a service will be specified in the agreed proposal. Requests outside the agreed scope may require additional fees or an adjusted timeframe.

Intellectual Property

All original designs, concepts, drawings, written content, photographs and other materials created by or published by Sharyn Sassen Interiors remain the intellectual property of their respective owners unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Materials supplied to a client are for the agreed project and may not be reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Limitation of Responsibility

Interior design recommendations are advisory and do not replace specialist architectural, structural, engineering, electrical or other technical advice where required. Clients should consult appropriately qualified professionals for work requiring specialist assessment, approvals or certification.

We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, delays or policies of independent suppliers or contractors, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Cancellations and Consumer Rights

Any cancellation, rescheduling and refund arrangements will be communicated before a booking is confirmed. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law, including any applicable rights relating to distance contracts.
