About.

Background

I first encountered design through my studies in Occupational Therapy, where I learned the significance of well-designed spaces and objects in supporting human well-being. I went on to consult with placemaking organisations on collaborative design processes, exploring how thoughtful interventions could enhance public spaces and strengthen the connection between people and their environments.

In 2019, my focus evolved from public spaces towards interiors and architecture, but the principles of human-centred design have remained at the heart of my practice. After graduating as an Interior Designer from the Interior Design Institute – South Africa in 2020, I have collaborated with clients, architects and fellow designers to create considered spaces for living, working and play.

Approach

My interior design practice remains grounded in the values of my health sciences background. I believe in creating spaces where beauty and functionality exist in balance, with thoughtful design playing an important role in how we experience our surroundings. From colour palettes and materials to layout and finishes, every detail is considered as an opportunity to create connection, meaning and ease — ultimately enhancing the experience of everyday life.

Collaboration

I work with a trusted network of professionals, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure a smooth project from start to finish. I have carefully curated a team of experts across a wide range of disciplines, allowing me to bring the right expertise to every project. From online consultations, with designs and products delivered directly to your door, to full renovations and new builds — any project is possible when you have the right people in the room.
